Aerosol cloud interaction plays an important in the atmospheric radiation and components. The direct scattering of aerosol affect the total incoming long wave radiation that the surface receive. Acting as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN), the particles participate in the cloud formation and change the atmospheric environment. On the other hand, cloud provides the aqueous environment for the aerosol chemistry to happen, changing the size and components in a particle. My research focus on using a particle resolve model to track the physical and chemical changes of the particle population during the cloud processing.
