BIO:

I am a first year M.S. student in Atmospheric Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I attended the State University of New York, The College at Brockport for my undergrad where I obtained a B.S. double majoring in Meteorology and Water Resources.

My undergraduate research over the past couple years has focused on the downward transport of mid-tropospheric ozone within convection in Amazonia. I worked under the advisement of Penn State Professor Dr. Jose D. Fuentes and his postdoc Dr. Tobias Gerken

Currently I work with Dr. Stephen Nesbitt and Dr. Greg McFarquhar on the ground validation of NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission. Specifically, I will be working with the data acquired last year as part of the OLYMPEX field campaign, focusing on the microphysical observations.
