  • B.S. Dual Major; Meteorology,Water Resources; State University of New York (SUNY), College at Brockport, 2016

I am a second year M.S. student in Atmospheric Science at theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working within the Cloud Systems Research Group under advisement of Steve Nesbitt (UIUC) and Greg McFarquhar (OU/CIMMS).  My current research involves testing and improving remote sensing of ice-phase precipitation using radar and microphysical instruments. Most of my research has been heavily rooted in observations from the NASA Ground Validation field campaigns.

Before attending the University of Illinois, I completed a Bachelors of Science at the State University of New York, The College at Brockport where I  double majored in Meteorology and Water Resources with a minor in mathematics. My research career began at Brockport, but most of my undergraduate research experience came from working with Dr. Jose D. Fuentes at Penn State for two summers.
