  • Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015-2018)
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Remote Sensing, Wuhan University (2011-2015)

I joined the Department of Atmospheric Sciences as a graduate student under the advisement of Prof. Larry Di Girolamo in 2015. My research mainly involves using satellite remote sensing data to study the 3-D radiative effects in the atmosphere. In particular, I focus on using the Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) and the MODerate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) both onboard NASA's Terra satellite platform to implement data fusion and study the behavior of the bias from the MODIS retrieved cloud effective radius (Re) product. Here is a link to a recent paper that utilized the MISR-MODIS fusion data to infer ice crystal roughness:

Before coming to the University of Illinois, I received a Bachelor of Engineering in Remote Sensing at Wuhan University.
