JUNSHIK UM

My research interests are microphysical and radiative properties of clouds, especially in cirrus.

As a postdoctoral research associate working with Professor Greg McFarquhar, I am working on

- single-scattering properties of ice crystals in cirrus,
- microphysical properties of cirrus,
- influences of microphysical properties of cirrus and single-scattering properties of ice crystal on the bulk radiative properties of cirrus,
- developing new small ice crystal model, and
- remote-sensing retrieval of cloud microphysical and radiative properties.
