NotePad
Description
The NotePad program is an integrated journaling tool for the other
programs in the ATMOS 100 library. It has the capability to act like
a simple notepad application, but can receive information from the Graphing
Tool that can ultimately be opened in more advanced spreadsheet applications,
such as Microsoft Excel.

Objectives
The primary objective of the NotePas program is two-fold. The first
benefit is to make entries such as notes, comments, etc. about the program
currently running. The second objective is to receive the tabled information
from a graphing tool and save it in text form. This then can be opened
in a more advanced spreadsheet or graphing application in order to do
mode detailed analysis not available in the Graphing Tool.
Programming
Theory
The NotePad program can be a stand-alone program, but is not used
as such to date. It is very simple by notepad standards, but it is
still quite functional.

Operation
Running the Program
- Click the button labeled 'Notepad' from either the Graphing
Tool or anywhere the button can be found.
- Type in it as if it were a regular word processor
- Features include
File Input/Output
Printing
Cut / Copy / Paste
Undo / Redo

Clear All Text
Extra Knowledge
If you have content in the NotePad (with or without tabled data from
the Graphing Tool), clicking Export Data from the Graphing Tool window
will append the data to the lines. If the desired result is to simply
get the data to Excel, Clear the NotePad, and export the data again.
One noteable shortcut, if you export data, choose Edit->Select
All, then Edit -> Copy, and paste into the Excel window, you will
get what you want.
